1. A: If you're having a problem completing your order, please call us at 308-237-3044. We're open Tuesday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday & Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time.
2. A: When you've finished shopping, it's time to place your order! We've made the process fast and easy, so you can check out in a matter of minutes. Your shopping cart allows you to keep items in it from previous visits, This allows you to shop at your leisure, putting things in your cart on more than one visit or shopping during one visit and coming back to make your purchases later. So be sure to double check the items that you are wanting shipped before you continue checking out, you can always delete items from your cart if you decide not to buy them.
3. A: To help us keep your credit card and personal information safe and secure, you'll be asked to create a Store account by entering your e-mail address and choosing a password. (If you're already a member of Time For Baby, we've created an account for you and you can log in using the same password you have always used on our site.) Our checkout pages will then walk you through the ordering process, from entering your billing address to choosing your method of shipping.
4. A: You'll be asked to log in every time you go through checkout, if you're not already logged in. This helps us keep your credit card and personal information secure. During checkout you'll have a chance to update any information that has changed, such as credit card numbers, shipping and billing addresses, and so on.
5. A: We hate to keep our customers waiting for their favorite products, so we try to get things back in stock as quickly as possible. If what you want is out of stock, we will notify you as quickly as possible about the delay. In rare cases, an item goes out of stock after you place your order, we will contact you as quickly as possible before we continue with the order.
6. A: To receive money back on damaged goods you must notify Time For Baby by phone 308-237-3044 or email info@timeforbabystore.com within 3 days of receiving the merchandise. To receive money back for items that don't work or don't fit the purchase must have been dated within 15 days and be in original condition accompanied by a receipt and must be a stocked item. Monies will be credited to your credit card minus the frieght charges. To receive store credit for items the purchse must have been dated within the last 3 months and be accompanied by a reciept and be in original condition and must be a stocked item.
7. A: Our goal is to provide the fastest possible service to our customers, so there's a good possibility that by the time you call with a cancellation request, your package will be on its way already! 8. A: Time For Baby gladly accepts Visa and MasterCard. We cannot accept payment by cash, check, or money order. Note that your credit card must have a U.S. billing address.
9. A: That depends on where your order is being shipped. Nebraska state law requires us to collect sales tax on merchandise shipped in Nebraska. There's no sales tax on orders shipped to any of the other states. The tax rate applied to your order will generally be the combined state and local rate for the address where your order was shipped. Therefore, the sales tax rate applied to your order may be different for an order shipped to different addresses. Timeforbabystore.com obtains sales tax rates from a leading tax rate service provider. Consistent with state laws services such as shipping charges may be subject to sales tax.
10. A: Your credit card won't be charged until your items are shipped from our warehouse. If your order is split (divided up into more than one shipment), you'll be charged for the merchandise in each portion of your order when it ships.
11. A: With standard shipping, most items in our store arrive in three to eight business days. If an item happens to be out of stock you will be notified as quickly as possible to let you know when the possible earliest date that you may receive it. You will be able to select what the shipping rates and time frame will be before you finalize your order. Large and bulky items take a bit longer and cost a bit more because oversize charges apply. We try hard to keep our shipping charges as low as possible.
12. A: Certain large and bulky products, such as cribs and furniture, are considered oversize by our shippers. How will you know if an item is oversize? On our site, we indicate which items are oversize on the product page (that's the page that shows a picture and a description of the product). During checkout, we also clearly indicate which items are oversize and show you the shipping charges.
13. A: There are a few: • We can ship oversize items only to street addresses in the United States (except Alaska and Hawaii). They can't be shipped to P.O. boxes, APO and FPO addresses, or anywhere outside the United States. • Two-day express shipping is usually not available for some oversize items, so most are shipped via Standard shipping. • Oversize items are shipped separately from other items in your order.
14. A: Yes, we add a special surcharge of $5, $8, $10, $15, $20, $25 or $50 per item to cover the extra expense charged by our carriers for transporting large and bulky items.
15. A: We regret that we can't ship to any other countries right now. (Also, the credit card you use to place an order must have a U.S. billing address.) We ship non-oversized items to all 50 states.
16. A: No, everything in a single order must be shipped to the same address. If you want items shipped to separate addresses (as gifts, for example), you'll need to place a separate order for each address.
17. A: Don't panic! Everything is probably fine. Sometimes we "split" your order into two or more shipments because one part of it is oversized to make sure you receive your items as quickly as possible. Oversize items must be shipped separately. So if you order something oversize, we'll ship the oversize item in one package and the rest of your order in another.
18. A: Time for Baby makes it easy to make a registry online. 1. If you haven't already, click "Create Account" at the top of the page. If you already have a Time For Baby Account, skip to step 3. Fill in your personal information. Once you have created your account you can build a registry. 2. Login in to your Time For Baby Account. 3. Click the "Registry" link located at the top of the page. You can also find this link under "My Account." 4. Click "Add Registry." Enter the occassion date and Co-Registrant name. After you select "Continue," you will see your registry on the list. Click under "Registry Mode." You may now begin shopping. If you want to add an item to your registry, type the quantity you would like to receive and select "Add to Registry." You can leave registry mode at any time by clicking the link at the top of the page. 5. Tell your friends and family about your registry at timeforbabystore.com. All they have to do is search for your registry from our home page, and can purchase gifts from your registry. Here are some additional tips: - Consider including things to get you through the whole first year. - Include items from a range of prices and categories so gift-givers will have many choices. - Look for items that are multipurpose or can convert to use for older children. - Consult our checklists and buying guides for more advice.
19. A: You can update your registry at any time by logging in to your Time For Baby Account and clicking on the "Registry" link. You can remove items, update quantities, or even buy something yourself from your Registry page.
20. A: You can remove items when you view your list by clicking on remove, which appears next to each item. When you click update, any clicked items will be removed.
21. A: When someone buys an item from your gift registry, your gift registry will show that one of those items has been "received." You will also receive an email letting you know right away. If you requested more than one of that item (for example, if you registered for four receiving blankets), your gift registry will show how many have been bought.
22. A: You can update your personal information (such as your shipping address) at any time by going to your Time For Baby Account profile.
23. A: You can always search for a gift registry in our Baby Registry area. Use the box called Baby Registry to perform your search. Hints: If you're not getting any search results, try using fewer search terms. For example, enter you only need the first letter of the first name and the first letter of the last name.
24. A: Selecting items To buy an item from a gift registry, click on the Add to Cart button found next to every item. This will take you to your Shopping Cart, where you'll have the option of going back to the gift registry to continue shopping or checking out and completing your purchase. Shipping your items During checkout you can choose to ship to yourself or directly to the gift recipient or pick up your items at the store. To ship directly to the recipient, you don't need the address. Just select the option "ship to the address on the gift registry" and we'll take care of the rest. If you choose to pick your order up at the store, simply click that box. Your entire order must be shipped to one location — we cannot send items from one order to more than one place.
25. A: Yes! Customers without e-mail access are welcome to call us and place gift registry orders over the phone. We'll need to know the name on the gift registry. Once we have that, we can fax the list of items or read it to the customer over the phone.
